Does anyone know the facts on what happens if you don't payback a payday loan? I mean what can happen? Can they garnish your wages?

I always receive tons of emails about payday loans, financial assistance etc and I am sick of it. I don't want them. How do I block them? I receive 50 a day and its difficult to copy/glue, put them below the block in Yahoo to later on find more emails. Is there another solution?

Open Question: Debt consolidation?

Okay, I did something dumb and got into some cash problems. Took out a couple payday loans and I have racked my credit cards up. Can you consolidate every your loans and bills and stuff into one payment. How good of an idea is this. Anyone ever done and who did you go through. I wish I could just make one payment. Open Question: Can I borrow from more than one credit union bank?

I opened an account and was able to receive a loan with no credit history because I just turned 18. But I am not able to receive another loan from them. I just need another $500 or so, to pay for end of senior year things and then I'll bet down borrowing. I've already went to 2 payday loans which is the limit. Could I open another account at another credit union or any other suggestions? Fastest way would be the best way for me right now.

Open Question: Has anyone ever dealt with 500 Fast Cash payday loans?

Several weeks ago, I took out a $300 payday loan online through 500 quick Cash to help me with some unexpected emergency expenses. I have been trying to pay the loan completely off. I have sent them e-mails and made phone calls to them to tell them to take the entire $300 plus the finance charge out every at once so that I can be done with it, but they just keep taking out $90 every 2 weeks. I am so sick of this. It's costing me a fortune. I currently use Bank of America and I went and opened an account with a local credit union yesterday and changed my direct deposit to my new account to receive away from this 500 quick Cash. I hated to do it since I have had my account with BOA for nearly 4 years, but they just keep taking $90 at a time out of my account despite my multiple requests to just pay it off. Can they do anything to me for opening a new account and moving every of my money over there so that they don't have access to it? I'm desperate and have definitely learned my lesson about these payday loans. Thanks for the response, Ankhesan. The only problem is that I can't go look them in person. I did this every online (first mistake) and I have no idea what state they are even in, but they definitely aren't in my state. Sorry, I made a mistake. Open Question: I am considering prostituting to pay off my debts. I just don't know what else to do.?

I'm married and have a 2 year old. This downward financial spiral began last year after my husband began using cocaine. He got me to do it for about three months and during that time, we began having to take out payday loans to cover our bills. I stopped. Recently, I found out he had not stopped like he told me and was going behind my back and still using. Needless to say, we are in a serious financial bind. We are $2500+ in the hole with payday loans and bills are tardy, checks are bouncing, accounts are getting overdrawn. Just had to pawn my wedding ring and a ring belonging to my deceased grandmother to bring our checking account out of the negative. He does minimal overtime. He makes $30 an hour and with overtime, he makes $45 an hour but he just won't do more than four-eight hours a check. I don't want to sound arrogant but I am attractive enough that people would definitely pay me for services and I am strongly considering it. I figure a few of these situations could put me back in control of my life. I'm just afraid for my daughter and I am willing to put my morals and ego aside to tug us from this hole. Don't I have to do what I have to do? I am sure he has stopped now, but obviously it has already done its damage. I need a quick fix now. Gettin a second job will not really help me because I needs big amounts of cash quickly. I AM NOT USING COCAINE AT every. Thank you everyone. I just feel hopeless right now. You every are right. I don't know what I am thinking. I'll have to figure out another way.

Open Question: Bad money problems and don't know what to do?

Any suggestions? I currently have 3 payday loans out right now. I didn't have the funds to pay these loans. I receive a monthly deposit from the GI bill for school and when the money was deposited those checks from the payday loans ate up every of my GI money now I have a month to arrive up with the $3000.00 for school and still have the loans. On top of a mortgage and many other bills. I feel like I am having a break down. * 6 minutes ago * - 3 days left to answer. I am living within my means. Something came up six months ago were I ahd to take out the loans now it is a cycle I can' receive out out of. If I could receive even everything would be fine. response on which is worse your husband cheating are putting you infinancial ruin with out you knowing alot of you wanted to know how that could happen finacialy well he paid every the bills and took care of the checking because it caused a battle when we were younger and i trusted him to do it since it is simple to do at least i thought it would be. I trusted to much his personality was different during this time he was vebally abusive and i never knew why he would hand over checks to me to use and tell me how much i could have. some times i might of spent a little more than i should have i have four kids but look i thought the money was in the bank he has a good job and i work also and ispent my possess money mostly. well its been two years now and last year he was still the same even after bankruptsy he almost lost our home by not paying the payment on time. thats when everything really came to a red and bright light to the full extent of how he has been handeling things accounts once again closed him taking my checks from my checking and forging my name and my sons account and ruining our accounts to where we had to pay them off and then close. I take every the checks away from him and he only uses debit. we live in seperate rooms and he is very distant do you think he realizes what he has done are do you think he is just a weired person i have been with him twenty five years and these last eight years have been distant since we moved to our new home. do you look him ever changing.

Open Question: Can they send me to jail?

I got caught in the payday loan scam. I needed cash to pay bills and before i new it i was getting loans to pay back other loans. They were taking cash out my account and the bank ended up closing my account. It has been 2 years and this man calls me threatening to send a detective to take me to jail for bank fraud. I told him i would make arrangement tos pay the bill but he said i had to pay the full amount. He will not send to me in writing how much is owed. When i called the number back they don't even say what company it is. What should i do? He said if i don't pay by Wednesday they will send someone to arrest me in front of my family or at my job.

I have to start with telling you that I am Bipolar. In the yrs of '05 &'06 I was in a manic state twice & bounced many checks, spent my $1000 VISA limit & my $500 SEARS limit. Open Question: I'm a nervous wreck!?

hello, a while ago i took out three payday loans, ( i know bad idea, learned lesson) I couldn't pay them back, so i entered into a payday loan consolidation company. anyways, the company said i needed to close that account, so i did. Then friday i was just curious and checked my old account number, and it was overdrawn! I called the bank, and they returned the check. my statement shows however, that i have a 30 dollart charge, for nsf fee from my bank, the teller said that would be straightened out on monday and i would be back at a 0.00 in my account. My question, ( which i forgot to ask her) The check from the one payday loan company that came in got returned, so will it arrive back account closed or nsf. or automaticaly nsf because they couldn't receive the money out?. ( plus the already agreed to do the consolidation with my consoldator) It's not a bad check is it? i don't want to go to jail! i'm so scared. i tried to call their phone number and there not open to monday. want to put my mind to ease. they put debits through my account before, and now they tried that as a check. help! IRON, i didn't ask you to judge, i'm a single mom who works two jobs and can't make ends meet. do i know payday loans are a bad way to go? YES. But i'm paying them back, and that's one thing many don't do. i was curious about why they did what they did . not having my choice labeled as "DISGUSTING". Where can I find a loan with needy credit rating? I have a loan with a lender, but, it's at such a high interest rate and need to receive my payments clip. Voting Question: Have to default on Payday Advance?

I hate to say it but I have a few of those payday loans out that I can't pay anymore! I got into a cycle. It started out that I just took out one to cover an emergency and then I couldn't make the payment and took out another and so on until I got myself in over my head. I can't make the payments on them anymore. If i let them deposit my check because I can't arrive in to make the payment will my bank cover and chg me an overdraft or not pay it and I owe the bank and the company? Do they then put you into collections until you pay or what? I am NEVER NEVER doing this again I need these paid off and have learned my lesson!!! I just want to know what steps they take when they deposit a check with no funds available.

Resolved Question: Today is payday employer changed the date for payday yesterday and told nobody, is this legal?

My husband was supposed to receive paid today, actual payday date is the (15th) of the month, I went to receive his check and they said oh we changed the pay day date yesterday from the 15th to the 16th and if the 16th falls on a Sunday you have to wait until Monday to pick up your check and they have also made it mandatory you cannot pick up the check until 3 p.m. The bank in this little town that the checks are written on closes at 3 p.m. lobby, steer thru, the whole place closes. I can survive the weekend without the check but is it even legal to do people this way with no notice, I know it is at least unethical? My nephew works there to and his wife had already written checks to pay bills on this paycheck that should hit the bank Monday and now she can't cover them because she can't pick up the check until after 3 p.m. so I loaned her money to cover the checks which just about tapped me out on cash, I am still just infuriated over this! Can they legally do this? Oh I don't want to sue anyone, that wouldn't resolve anything but seriously, it sucks! Well my husband has worked for this company for a long time, if payday falls on a weekend they have always without delay been paid on Friday, which is what they expect. I can understand them changing their policy, but seriously, giving no notice whatsoever. Who hasn't went to receive groceries, diapers, paid a bill with a check the day before payday expecting their check to cover it, I know I have.

Resolved Question: Financial tip?

We have recently bought our 1st home, which we managed to receive a mortgage for by accident (a mistake on the advisors part) an accident that I am truly grateful for. I adore my home & after moving 3 times in 1 year...uprooting my kids, I don't ever want to move again. However, we have had fanacial difficulties and both me & my partner have bad credit history from before we met that we have never been able to recover from. We managed to receive a tiny secure loan after we moved which we used to put in a Kitchen & bathroom (the property was very run down when we bought it) we are now struggling to keep our heads over water and are behind on many payments to creditors & dumbly got a couple of payday loans that take up every my partners monthly pay so we have to repeat the loan each month to pay the mortgage. We have tried to increase the secured loan unsuccessfully as we only have 8 months mortg history and bad credit. I don't want to sell the home & start over so I'd adore any suggestions ?
